Nordic singing circle

This singing circle is to explore the field of the Nordic songs with the drum. After traveling around in the world gathering songs from various cultures and hosting singing circles, I have been diving deep into my root music – the Scandinavian/Nordic song culture. The songs will be in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish. We will also be able to go into the rhythm of the songs with humming along, drumming and doing improvisation through some of the melodies, exploring how it affects us.

The songs are about the elements, mother earth, the Nordic gods and mythological creatures.
