Plant Bath – Shipibo Tradition
The Plant Bath is a gentle, accessible, yet powerful way to care for oneself. It is a traditional practice from the Shipibo tradition, prepared with intention and infused with the medicine of the plant spirits through an ikaro – the “song of the plants”– to cleanse, align, protect, and call in good energies and spirits.
Plant baths can be done with different intentions, such as cleansing, love, abundance, luck, or the purification of a house or space. On this occasion, we will focus on cleansing and protection.
Please come in a bathing suit or naked. The bath is done at the end of the day. Do not shower afterward – let it dry naturally so the energy of the plants can fully enter the body.
