Building a Cob House

In this workshop we will build a house made out of clay and straw. The workshop will be led by Petras Devižis, a famous architect of straw houses in Lithuania and a pioneer and fosterer of this technology. After participating in the session, people will gain basic knowledge and learn construction techniques, which will enable them to build this type of housing themselves. During the festival, the house will grow from the foundation to the roof.

Later, it will serve the Gaia community for many more years, so by contributing to the construction, you will not only learn a lot, but also support the community in the creation of the first permanent dwelling on the land of Gaia.
